Frequently asked questions
Nobody actually asked them, but we thought it's good to put some things on here anyway.
What is killedbydiscord.com?
killedbydiscord.com is inspired by killedbygoogle.com. Our aim is to document features and other services that have been removed, discontinued, or abandoned by Discord for informational purposes.
Why are only a few select experimental features documented?
We only list experimental features if they've had a rollout. That is to say, they were available to the public as part of a test. Otherwise as far the public is concerned, it never existed in the first place.
How do you decide something has been abandoned?
It's subjective. When we believe something has been neglected for long enough, we may consider it abandoned. This decision may not always be accurate, especially concerning special or experimental features and invite-only programs that are available to a small subset of users or servers only.
For our intents and purposes, abandonment isn't death, so we do not reset the days since last kill.
